Ballard’s History
Ballard’s Plumbing, Heating, Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration is one the leading mechanical contracting firms in northwest Michigan. Established in 1952 by Don and Esther Ballard, Ballard’s first location was on Emmet Street in Petoskey, Michigan. Purchased by Irma and Jim Rand in 1982 Ballard’s has evolved into the “go to” company for northwest Michigan and the Straits area for all residential and commercial plumbing, heating & cooling service and new installation projects.
Ballard’s Plumbing, Heating, Air-Conditioning, and Refrigeration has been working in northwest Michigan with the area’s leading manufacturing companies, contractors, government agencies, architects, and service providers for 60 years. Some of the projects we have been involved in are: Boyne Highlands Heather Highlands Inn renovation, Boyne Mountain Avalanche Bay Indoor Water Park, Boyne City Waste Water Treatment Plant, Charlevoix City Hall Renovation.
